EXHIBITING FINAL TASK: MOVIE VIDEO

  





Hello viewers, my name is Jaylah Duroseau. I'm a sixteen-year-old high school student enrolled in Fort Lauderdale High School as an 11th grader. My birthday is June 18th so that makes me a Gemini. As you can see in the picture above, I'm a twin!! Most people can't tell the difference, but I can offer you some personal aid. I'm the one in the blue dress. To put your mind at ease wondering if we are fraternal or identical twins, we are fraternal. This information surprises most people. At Fort Lauderdale High, I'm in the Pre- Law Program but also have plans to graduate with my AICE Diploma. Both me and my twin are currently enrolled in Cambridge Classes and have planned out a successful future for ourselves. At first, I wanted to pursue a career as a lawyer. What changed my mind was the movie The Accountant which made me want to pick up the career as a Forensic Accountant. This field is a mixture of both law and accounting.  My dream is to attend either Howard University, FAU or Virginia Tech.  Besides my academic pursuits, I'm have a creative and artistic mind as I love to paint and draw in my spare time. Painting and Drawing allow me to be free from guidelines and instructions so I can be one with the pen and paintbrush. With this, I enjoy watching many genres of television shows like K-Dramas, True Crime, Romance, Sci-Fi and Dramas. In my opinion, as long as the show has a good plot that can keep me hooked, I'm watching it. I feel as if I'm a well-rounded individual with different interest as I'm not just focused on school.  I'm excited to work with my group to create a commercial and see how our minds can come together to film an interesting and captivating Music Video in this AICE Media Studies Class.

FINAL TASK: FILMING AT OUR LOCATIONS

  Our dates for filming has changed significantly as time progressed. As distance is a key factor in our production process, we have had to resort to us putting separate videos together. Our first plan to film at Zariah’s house fell  through because  they had a family emergency that day. This led to us having to scramble together to have our film dates together. We did panic at a point in time which led us to separate from each other. This separation bridged us apart from each other. We did have a couple of disagreements when we were in contact with each other. Our pettiness did get the best of us at times. However, all of us Me, Zariah and Saja came to the realization that this project needs to be done. As a unit we must come together for the sake of our short film. We worked so hard on our script putting our creative minds together.
