PRESENTING: OUR GROUP

 





   For the upcoming commercial, I will be working in a group of 3. At first, I was apprehensive about working with a group in general due to me having to rely on other people. I'm also not a very sociable person since I'm an introvert. I also like to focus on my own ideas at without hearing the input of others. However, working as a group promotes collaboration which is a skill that I need to acquire and work on. My group of 3 consists of myself, Zariah and Saja. If one couldn’t tell, the group is made up of girls completely. I made the decision to work with these girls due to us connecting throughout our classes and their differing personalities as well as skill sets. With the three of us working together, we can combine our differing skill sets to make an enticing, eye-catching commercial. For starters, Zariah is relaxed while also being cheerful at times. She proves to be very active in school as she's involved in cheerleading showcasing her school spirit.  Even though she's involved, it never deters her away from her studies and schoolwork. She is also very creative with her ideas as she is very prominent on her socials. Speaking of socials, this is where Sajah comes in as her greatest strong suit proves to be her socials. Sajah proves to be very social with her personality. She is very outgoing and lively making her approachable. This is a great characteristic simply because she would be able to express herself and ideas with little difficulty. Although she is very lively, she knows when to switch it off and be serious about her schoolwork. The qualities that we all share is that we are very school oriented. I look forward to working with my group!

FINAL TASK: FILMING AT OUR LOCATIONS

  Our dates for filming has changed significantly as time progressed. As distance is a key factor in our production process, we have had to resort to us putting separate videos together. Our first plan to film at Zariah’s house fell  through because  they had a family emergency that day. This led to us having to scramble together to have our film dates together. We did panic at a point in time which led us to separate from each other. This separation bridged us apart from each other. We did have a couple of disagreements when we were in contact with each other. Our pettiness did get the best of us at times. However, all of us Me, Zariah and Saja came to the realization that this project needs to be done. As a unit we must come together for the sake of our short film. We worked so hard on our script putting our creative minds together.
